Steven Berlin Johnson, a best-selling author of six books on the intersection of science, technology and personal experience, recently gave a TEDx talk on “Where Good Ideas Come From” which is well worth a watch.

Apparently ‘eureka’ moments are rare, with good ideas coming from a mesh of ‘half ideas’, collaboration and ‘hunches’. Johnson also looks at the influence of the internet and new technologies on innovation.
