I’ve noticed it on recent flights to and from the UK that hardly anybody pays attention to the safety announcements anymore. It’s no wonder that airlines are resorting to videos like this, or the live performances like Cebu Pacific.

Yes those entertaining flight safety demos are becoming more common…I’ve yet to see an Aer Lingus or Ryan Air flight attendent ‘boogie’ though unfortunately! As long as they’re one-off stunts it isn’t really going to change passenger behaviour. The people paying attention are those who haven’t heard it a hundred times before!
